1. How do you get your inspirations?
It's always different. Mostly through envy...is that weird?

2. Is there a certain place you go for inspiration? Please describe.
I love listening to music. Music gets me off my ass, out of my body and into a new reality, works everytime. I also dig San Fransico.

3. How much of your own life is reflected in your work?
I would say a great deal. But recently I've been experimenting with writing as different characters. I had to do that when we started writing music for the Girltrash movie. I had to say all these things in other character's voices, and it was incredibly freeing.

4. Do you think your experiences in childhood have influenced your present creative endeavors?
For sure! Experiences shape you. Thanks for being a dick, Dad! Not sure how to ever re-pay you.

5. Thinking about your own creative works or those of others, what is your own definition of creativity?
It's like putting a miracle ear over your inner dude.

6. Does too much information make creativity fail?
Never. No such thing.

7. What do you do when you experience a mental block to your creative endeavors?
Break shit. Cry. Begin again. :)

Now, when people say "golden temple" they usually mean that the structure is golden in color. But when it comes to the Shwedagon Pagoda, golden literally means covered in gold! In the 15th century, a queen of the Mon people donated her weight in gold to the temple. This tradition continues until today, where pilgrims often save for years to buy small packets of gold leafs to stick to the temple walls.

As if all that gold wasn't enough, the spire of the stupa or dome is covered with over 5,000 diamonds and 2,000 rubies (there's even a 76 carat diamond at the very tip!). And oh, the temple housed one of the holiest relics in Buddhism: eight strands of Buddha's hair.
